Picturephant About Page

I don't take snapshots.

I capture moments.

The two words that best describe my photography style are:

Intimate and Aggressive

My photography style is Intimate, because I often zoom fully in to reach my subjects— and bring them closer.

My photography style is Aggressive, because I make every effort to capture the moment.

Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins Swimming In The Atlantic Ocean July

A pod of Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins swim in the Atlantic Ocean, photographed during a Dolphin Sunset Nature Cruise aboard the Miss Avalon fishing yacht in Avalon, New Jersey July 19, 2022.

Through my lens, I see the World in amazing ways.

With decades of photography experience, I apply creative techniques to capture moments. Self-trained the best way— by taking photos in the field with a relentless attention to detail— I live by my Photography Mantra: Review & Refine. When you constantly Review your photos with an eye towards improving, you can Refine and improve your pictures and camera skills.

I use a Full-frame Mirrorless Professional camera system. But my experience was forged from mastering DSLR and film cameras. Whatever level camera you use, I know what it takes to get results.

I love sharing what I know, so other photographers can blossom.

You can learn by eventually purchasing Picturephant Photography Master Classes (available once the Picturephant GoFundMe Goal is reached).
