An Exclusive Photo Exhibition
A Photo Exhibition is personal. It provides a view into the World seen by the photographer. Everyone sees the World differently. The World I see is full of life, color, and beauty.
Those themes are the essence of my new Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant) Photo Exhibition. This exclusive two-month Photo Exhibition is on view through October 31 inside Mac’s Foxhole Bar (Lounge) at the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
The Photo Exhibition is on view whenever the Box Office and Mac’s Foxhole Bar (Lounge) are open (Wednesday to Friday 12:30-5:30 p.m., plus one hour before every performance). Check the performance schedule at www.uptownwestchester.org before you go.
Picturephant Photo Blogs usually showcase photos and provide tips and techniques for how you can take similar photos. However, with this Photo Blog, we’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a Photo Exhibition. Many of my tips and techniques are on display in these photos.
This Photo Exhibition will surround you with dozens of vivid photographs.

Historic Venue For A Photo Exhibition
The Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant) Photo Exhibition is on display inside Mac’s Foxhole (Lounge) at the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center In West Chester, Pennsylvania. This building is the former Major John C. Groff Memorial Armory, designed in 1916, by prominent Philadelphia architect Philip H. Johnson, who would later design the Civic Center in Philadelphia.
The Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center is home to a variety of theater productions, musicals, concerts, comedy shows, and other events. For the next 2 months, visitors will be able to view the Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant) Photo Exhibition.
Deciding What To Showcase
Obviously, the toughest part was deciding which photos to display. I wanted to show my body of work. So I exhibited a variety of images, from eclipses, to wildlife, architecture, aviation, and more. Some photos are from the Picturephant Private Collection, and can’t be seen on www.picturephant.com. Most are from the many Picturephant Photo Galleries on www.picturephant.com.
Here are two framed photographs from the Photo Exhibit: Avalon Sunrise and Great Egret At Sunset. To view more of the Photo Exhibit, I encourage you to actually go see Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant).
Join me for a Meet The Photographer Reception Thursday September 17, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. I’ll show you around the Photo Exhibition, and explain what it took to capture these images.
If you have questions about the Photo Exhibition, they might be answered on the Photo Exhibit FAQ page here. If you have more questions, contact [email protected].

Filling The Room
Filling a room with a gallery of photos is challenging— and rewarding. For this Photo Exhibition, the life, color, and beauty is spread throughout the room.
This Amaryllis close-up epitomizes those themes. Tight close-ups invite you into the image. The viewer is transported into the flower. For more about how I took this photo, check out my Flowers In A Flash Blog Post here.
Going Wild
Among the many wildlife photos on view is this stunning shot of an adult Osprey, with wings spread out. On July 2, 2024, I was on the Jetty photographing this Osprey hunting for fish in the Atlantic Ocean, when the raptor took a look at me. It was an electric moment.
My Photo Exhibition features several wildlife photos, because I very much love photographing animals in the wild. By applying the right camera settings, I’m ready to capture anything that happens.

Showing Daybreak To Day's End
As you know, I specialize in photographing sunrises and sunsets. Check out my Sun Gallery, plus Savoring Sunsets— parts One and Two Photo Blogs. The Sun is shining throughout my Photo Exhibition. I also love the challenge of astrophotography. Moon shots are rewarding to capture. Check out my Moon Gallery here. When you view my Exhibition, you will see plenty of Sun and Moon.
This photo of Sunset Through Townsend’s Inlet Bridge shows so many techniques. From aboard the Miss Avalon fishing yacht on a Dolphin Sunset Nature Cruise June 24, 2025, I used a Circular Polarizer filter to capture the rich color and contrast. I was ready with my shutter speed of 1/1,250th second to capture this moment. I waited until the Sun was through the center of the opened bridge. My narrow aperture of f13 allowed me to caste the bridge as a silhouette to frame the Sun as the bright beam radiated over the water through the opened span.
It is a unique perspective from which to view sunset.
Sharing My Gift
This Photo Exhibition enables you to see life Through My Lens. My passion for photography— and the subjects I capture— shows through. Photographs are meant to be shared. The dozens of photos on display in my Photo Exhibition celebrate the World I see. It is your chance to see a variety of Picturephant photos together on these walls in one room.
There is something impactful about viewing many photos on walls— not just on a screen. The images invite you closer, to see the life, color, and beauty.

Taking The Exhibit Home

This is a sign of things to come.
Picturephant was founded to celebrate photography. Funds raised from this Photo Exhibition, along with GoFundMe donations, will help Picturephant become an official business. When that goal is reached, Picturephant will fully become the online portal where you can view/buy photos, learn tips and techniques from the Photo Blog, become a better photographer by purchasing camera lessons, and order photo shoots.
It has been a long journey. But it is especially rewarding to share Picturephant photos in this exclusive Photo Exhibition.

General Settings
Because this Photo Blog was about the Photo Exhibition, we won’t discuss General Settings, because they varied with each photo. The Photo Exhibition showcases how the right recipe of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and more can create spectacular photographs.
Photo Tips
Tight close-ups draw the viewer into to your subject. The Amaryllis Close-up is a prime example of this technique. Take photos of an entire subject. But be sure to zoom in for detail shots.
Capturing eye contact with any subject produces a compelling portrait. The Osprey With Wings Spread photo illustrates how powerful it is to make eye/lens contact.
Framing your composition can be powerful, as seen in the Sunset Through Townsend’s Inlet Bridge photo. Silhouettes make perfect frames.
Review & Refine! Keep checking your shots to see if your settings are good enough. The more you’re willing to improve your settings, the better a photographer you will be!
