I liked the photos in the Photo Exhibit shown from the Private Collection.  Why can’t I buy those?

The photos from the Private Collection on display in the Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant) Photo Exhibition are not available for purchase, but were exhibited to show the additional photo skills of Photographer Robb Enright.  If you have questions regarding photos you saw from the Private Collection, contact [email protected].

Why can’t I buy any photos from other Picturephant Galleries on www.picturephant.com?

Picturephant is raising funds to become an official business.  Until then, photos from all other Galleries are not yet for sale.  The Photo Exhibit Gallery enables those who experienced the Through My Lens— Photography By Robb Enright (Picturephant) Photo Exhibition, and those who viewed the Photo Exhibit Gallery online, to purchase photos they saw.

Proceeds from Photo Exhibit Gallery sales go towards raising enough funds to start Picturephant as an official business.

Why are you called Picturephant?

The name, Picturephant, unites two passions of Chief Creative Officer Robb Enright: photography and elephants.  Picturephant is a multi-media company well beyond a photography business.  Robb Enright designed the Picturephant logo, designed the entire www.picturephant.com website, writes and publishes the Picturephant Photo Blog, and is raising funds to launch Picturephant as an official company.

What makes Picturephant Photography Master Classes different from other camera lessons?

Picturephant customizes each lesson for you and your specific camera.  That way, you learn photography skills you can use with your camera.  We don’t believe in boring, standardized, basic camera lessons.  You learn from taking photos.  You take your best photos once you’ve learned techniques to master your camera.

In my Shopping Cart options for buying prints, what is the difference between E-Surface and Lustre coating?

Picturephant uses one of the World’s best photo labs to make your prints.  E-Surface is the high-quality paper used to print your photo.  The image is printed in a semi-matte finish (not glossy).

Lustre Coating is optional, but strongly recommended if you choose not to frame the print you purchase.  Lustre Coating provides protection against Ultraviolet rays and fingerprints.   Lustre Coating will also add a bit of shine to a print, without making it glossy.  This is like the clear coat on top of your car’s paint, though not as glossy.

This is not a sales gimmick to earn more profit.  If you are displaying your photos without a glass frame, we strongly recommend adding Lustre Coating for added protection.

Why can’t I buy frames to go along with the prints I purchase?

As you know, frames are very expensive.  Picturephant strives to sell photos, merchandise, camera lessons, and photo shoots in the most affordable prices as possible.  Unfortunately, Picturephant is unable to sell high-quality frames at affordable prices.  The frames available for Picturephant to sell are just too expensive.

Therefore, at this time, Picturephant photos will only be sold as prints.  Once Picturephant becomes an official business, prints will be sold in a variety of papers and finishes— including certain sizes available directly on metal.
